American Resources Unveils Mobile Modular Rare Earth Leaching Solution to Extract Value from Coal and Mine Waste

source:gurufocus

American Resources Corporation (NASDAQ:AREC), a key player in the infrastructure and defense raw material sectors, has announced the launch of a revolutionary mobile modular leaching solution. This innovative technology is designed to extract rare earth concentrates from coal and mine waste, potentially transforming environmental liabilities into valuable assets.

The company plans to implement this technology across its 30,000 acres of controlled property and offer it under a licensing model to other landowners and mining operators globally. The extracted materials will be processed by ReElement Technologies, a division of American Resources, which specializes in refining rare earth elements and byproducts like High Purity Alumina and Silicon Dioxide.

Initial testing on American Resources' West Virginia property has confirmed a rare earth content of over 500 ppm, highlighting significant potential for economic recovery using this new technology. ReElement's approach is distinguished by its ability to economically process both heavy and light rare earth elements, employing fewer chemicals and incurring lower capital costs than traditional methods.

To support the expansion of this initiative, American Resources is exploring various capitalization strategies, including a Form D offering and the possibility of implementing a tokenized platform. The company's unique position in the U.S. market, as a producer of both heavy and light rare earth oxides at magnet-grade purity, positions it advantageously to meet growing demands in defense and infrastructure sectors.
