来源:ACS PublicationsIn this study, a novel luminescent Eu-MOF formulated as [Eu4L6(DMA)]·2H2O (1; H2L = 4,4′-(ethane-1,2-diylbis(oxy))dibenzoic acid) was synthesized via the solvothermal method. SC-XRD analysis confirms that the Eu clusters in complex 1 serve as secondary building units (SBUs), which are bridged by organic linkers via carboxylate oxygen atoms to form a three-dimensional extended structure. The emission spectrum is dominated by the characteristic 5D0 → 7F2 transition of Eu3+, peaking at 614 nm. Compound 1 functions as an efficient dual-functional sensor for Hemin and Chloro...

Regulating the Frontier Orbital Interactions of Ru and NiO Support via Rare Earth Atoms to Optimize Interfacial Water for Enhanced Hydrogen Evolution 来源:ACS PublicationsMetal/support-type materials with tunable frontier orbital energy gap are promising electrocatalysts for water splitting, while accurately tailoring their frontier orbital interaction to optimize the pair of metal−adsorbate and metal−support interactions and further to simultaneously boost activity and stability still remains challenging. Herein, density functional theory (DFT) calculations were first employed to predict the in...

A Novel Rare-Earth/Anion Synergistic Doping Strategy Enhances the Structural Stability and Sodium-Ion Diffusion Kinetics of Superlattice Layered Oxide Cathode 来源:ACS PublicationsSodium-ion batteries (SIBs) are highly promising for large-scale energy storage due to the abundance and low cost of sodium resources. Among various cathode materials, layered transition metal oxides are considered one of the most commercially viable systems, thanks to their high theoretical capacity, mature synthesis processes, and favorable two-dimensional ion diffusion pathways that enable fast ion transport. Howeve...

来源:ACS PublicationsThe recovery of rare earth elements (REEs) from REE-bearing heavy mineral tailings of the Manisa–Sart (Türkiye) placer deposit─with an REE-bearing phase consistent with a monazite-group phosphate host, supported by SEM–EDS microanalysis and bulk geochemical evidence─was investigated via an integrated alkali roasting–reductive acid leaching route. The effects of roasting temperature, NaOH stoichiometry, acid type and concentration, reducing agent addition, and the heating method (conventional vs microwave) on REE extraction efficiency were systematically evaluated. Roast...
